STOP - 4 Things Every RV Owner Must Know about Their Roof

  1. Does the product you're applying need a Primer? Most RV Roof products do NOT stick well to an EPDM Rubber Roof without a Primer. RV Flex Repair products do not require a Primer for EPDM rubber roofs, Metal/Aluminum, or Fiberglass.
  2. Are the products you're applying compatible with each other? Products from different brands do not work well together. RV Flex Repair products, in contrast, are designed to be fully compatible with each other.
  3. Are the products you're applying waterproof? Most RV roof coatings are not waterproof and cannot handle ponding water. RV Flex Repair has a 100% silicone coating that provides a permanent water-tight seal.

Is there a warranty that comes with your products? RV Flex Repair products are the only RV Roof products that come with a warranty, let alone a lifetime warranty!

RV Roof Seam Tape for Ultimate Leak Prevention

Calculate how many linear feet you want to cover. Each roll is 50’ long.

RV roof tape is a vital tool for any RV owner looking to ensure their vehicle remains in top condition, protected from the harsh realities of the open road. This durable, adhesive solution is designed to seal leaks, bridge gaps, and reinforce vulnerable areas with ease. Whether you're dealing with unexpected damage or preemptively fortifying your RV's defenses, this RV roof seal tape provides a strong barrier that stands up to the rigors of travel.

Leaking roofs, split seams, or damage from a branch—these are frequent issues RV owners face, leaving many wondering about the best solution.

RV Flex Repair Roof Tape is specially formulated with a super sticky adhesive. This allows the tape to adhere to tough-to-stick surfaces like an EPDM rubber roof (this is the most common RV roof). It sticks to virtually all surfaces except silicone.

The tape's white top surface is not only self-compatible but also works seamlessly with the following:

To ensure a successful application of RV Flex Repair Roof Tape, follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Start with a thorough cleaning of the application area. Using acetone as a final wipe helps in creating an ideal surface for the tape to adhere to.

Step 2: Carefully remove the bottom release liner bit by bit to avoid exposing the entire adhesive surface at once. Begin applying the tape in small sections, ensuring it adheres properly without any creases.

Step 3: Once applied, smooth the tape from the center towards the edges to eliminate any air pockets or bubbles.

Step 4: Use the included seam roller to press down on the tape, securing its bond to the roof surface.

Step 5: For an even more seamless leak repair, some opt to apply RV Flex Repair 100% Silicone Roof Coating over the tape.

Tips for Effective Application

  • Versatile use: Ideal for RVs, motorhomes, trailers, and various roof types, including rubber, metal, and flat roofs, as well as vents, skylights, and surfaces like wood, fiberglass, and aluminum.
  • Starting the tape: Cut a clean edge at the corner of the release liner for easy peeling.
  • Application technique: Work in manageable sections and lay the tape gently without stretching it. Overlapping the tape on itself is acceptable.
  • Temperature considerations: Apply the tape at temperatures of 50°F/10°C and above for best results.
  • Surface prep: For surfaces like fiberglass, a light sanding is recommended to ensure the tape adheres firmly.
  • Water direction: Place the tape on the positive side where water pressure is downward to prevent water from pushing underneath the tape.
  • Guarantee: We stand by the quality of our product with a 100% Lifetime Guarantee, providing you with complete confidence in your purchase.

It's a great idea to always keep a roll of RV Flex Repair Roof Tape on hand when issues arise. You don't want to get caught without it when you really need it. This is also a great gift for your fellow campers.

Looking GREAT!!!

We needed to restore the rubber roof on our 2003 R-Vison Class B motorhome. We were quoted that to replace the roof would cost $$$$. We looked around online to see if there was any other options available. Ziollo products had a great rating on Amazon.ca, and it was on sale! We received our order right on schedule. We had a couple of questions regarding application of the products and contacted Customer Service, the responses were prompt. The product went on easily after prepping the joints and roof according to the online instruction videos. The timing of weather wasn't cooperating so we ended having to apply one coat and came back to it a couple of days later to apply the second coat. The results were fantastic! The roof is now a brilliant white, instead of what it was before, looking like a a badly scuffed up white running shoe. During our first trip with the RV, one day we had torrential rain showers throughout the day. The rain ran right off the roof with no pooling and more importantly, no leaks! We would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing to restore and upgrade their RV roof.

Rv Flex Repair

I like the tape. Put on the roofing. Thought I put it on heavy with a roller and realized after done that only used about 2 gallons of the 7 gallons I purchased for my 37 foot 5th wheel so it evidently needs another coat of which I will do. Like the product overall. Am counting on never needing to do this again.

Great Fix

Easy to apply and clean up after. Dries in hours

To get started on your project, you'll need to gather a few essential items to ensure a smooth and effective application process:

  1. Biodegradable soap and scrub brush to clean the surface.
  2. Acetone and rags for a final wipe before application (available at stores like Home Depot or Walmart).
  3. Scissors or utility knife to cut the tape. Can use tweezers to help pull the corner of the release liner (backing) off.
