STOP - 4 Things Every RV Owner Must Know about Their Roof

  1. Does the product you're applying need a Primer? Most RV Roof products do NOT stick well to EPDM Rubber Roofs without a Primer. RV Flex Repair products do not require a Primer for EPDM rubber roofs, Metal/Aluminum, or Fiberglass.
  2. Are the products you're applying compatible with each other? Products from different brands do not work well together. RV Flex Repair products, in contrast, are designed to be fully compatible with each other.
  3. Are the products you're applying waterproof? Most RV roof coatings are not waterproof and cannot handle ponding water. RV Flex Repair has a 100% silicone coating that is completely waterproof.

Is there a warranty that comes with your products? RV Flex Repair products are the only RV Roof products that come with a warranty, let alone a lifetime warranty!

1 Tube will do 1-2 vents. 4 Tubes generally does a whole RV roof.

Choosing the right RV caulk is crucial for sealing up your RV tight and keeping it in excellent condition. This specialized sealant plays a vital role in protecting your home-on-wheels from unpredictable elements, preventing water intrusion, and safeguarding against leaks. A superior RV roofing caulking doesn't just repair; it fortifies your RV's defenses, ensuring that you can enjoy your adventures, regardless of the weather.

Is your RV’s roof getting tired? Ready to restore or repair your RV, camper, or trailer roof? Need a lifelong solution? Our RV roof sealant is what you need.

RV roofs have a limited life before they need to be replaced. Generally, it's on average every 10–15 years. This typically costs approximately $3000–$4000 each time unless you know the secret to restoring your roof once and for all at an average lifetime cost of about $549.95 with our roof coating.

Are you asking yourself how is this possible? It's possible with new technology that has been developed recently, which allows 50+ years of performance.

RV manufacturers who build RV's are not concerned about how long your roof lasts, they just want to make sales and have it last long enough so they don't get any warranty recalls. Plus, if they offer RV service centers, they make a killing servicing your RV year after year.

Now, why would you want to dish out $10,000 over the life of your RV when you can do it once for about $549.95 with our RV roof sealant and have it guaranteed for the life of your RV?

I didn't want to either, and that's why I developed the only roof coating that is guaranteed for the life of your RV. Read MY STORY for full details.

Get your RV leak-free and road-ready. Here’s a step-by-step guide to applying RV Roofing Caulking effectively:

Step 1: Start by thoroughly cleaning the surface. Acetone is recommended for a final wipe to ensure it's free of contaminants.

Step 2: Cut the top of the tube and puncture the inner seal to prepare the caulking for application.

Step 3: Apply the caulking over clean, well-adhered old caulking (except silicone), targeting areas that require sealing.

Step 4: Expect to cover approximately 25 linear feet with each 10 oz tube, depending on the application's thickness and conditions.

Tips for Effective Application

  • Compatibility: Suitable for a variety of materials, including EPDM, metal, aluminum, PVC, Kynar, wood, concrete, and fiberglass.
  • Condition flexibility: This can be applied in both wet and dry conditions, making it versatile for unexpected repairs.
  • Curing: The curing process varies based on humidity, temperature, and airflow since the caulking is a moisture-cure product.
  • Safety and use: Non-hazardous formula allows for both outdoor and indoor use. Ensure good ventilation when applying indoors.
  • Post-application: Allows for painting or coating over the caulking within 24–48 hours for a seamless finish.
  • Temperature for application: For best results, apply at temperatures of 35°F/2°C and rising.
  • Surface prep: For smooth surfaces like fiberglass or plastic, roughen or sand the area before application to enhance adhesion.
  • Bonding: Adhesion improves over time, creating a durable seal.
Storage: Keep in a cool, low-humidity environment to maintain the product's integrity.
  • Shelf life and guarantee: Up to 2 years, ensuring long-term availability for multiple projects. Comes with a 100% Lifetime Guarantee, offering peace of mind and reliability for your RV maintenance needs.

It's a great idea to always keep a tube of RV Self-Leveling Caulk on hand for when issues come up. You don't want to get caught without it when you really need it. This is also a great gift for your fellow campers.

Drying time and usage

I felt that it did not dry as fast as it claimed it would. However it was easy to work with and I felt it did level out the more it sat and cured. I would say it was dry in about 2 hrs. It was 58 degrees out and and NOT very sunny. Had it been sunny AND warmer, it may have dried faster. I would definitely use it again.
